Mariella writes about the news that the MHRA has launched a public consultation as to whether a form of vaginal oestrogen should be made available without a prescription.
‘It might not sound as earth-shattering as initially thought, but this is actually ground-breaking. Apart from enjoying seeing and hearing the word ‘vagina’ more than I ever thought possible in papers and on radio, for women suffering from vaginal dryness and who are embarrassed to visit the GP, this could improve their quality of life immeasurably.’
